Submit Your Audition. Help Pick the Host.

We're looking for a talented Torah Observant cook with a passion for food and a great personality. If that's you, submit a video of you cooking. Soon, we'll open up voting on the entries to help us pick a host.

Entry deadline: Friday, July 10th, 6pm EST

Before You Get Cooking

Question
What should I cook?
Answer

Choose a "biblically clean" (check Lev. 11!) recipe that reflects your style of cooking, skills in the kitchen, what your family loves to eat, a favorite feast dish or favorite meal to share with others.

Question
What time commitment is required of the host?
Answer

We plan to "batch film" with the host we choose, which means we can film many episodes in a short window instead of needing you on an ongoing weekly schedule.

The actual commitment will depend on the final show format, but we may only need six to ten days of filming to create many episodes.

Question
How does voting work?
Answer

When voting opens on the evening of July 10th, TLN members and the public will be able to watch the entries and vote for their favorite. TLN member votes will carry extra weight in helping choose the finalists or winner.

Question
Is the host paid?
Answer

Yes. TLN will pay the selected host for their time on set.

Question
What if my kitchen isn't great for filming?
Answer

Not a problem. The show will be filmed at a location TLN secures, so your home kitchen does not need to be camera-ready.

Question
Can I submit a video I've already made?
Answer

Yes! If you create this kind of content online, you're welcome to link something you've already made, as long as it's long enough to see how you'd be as a host (no shorts or reels!).
